2009

The 2009 event will be held over the weekend of 19th & 20th September.

Preparation for a maize harvesting demonstration has already begun with the planting of ¾ acre as shown in this short video.

The wheat harvesting demonstration will include three Massey Harris 21 combines working as a team.

Watch this space for information on other exhibits.

At Little Casterton Working Weekend we will take you back in time to the early days of farm mechanisation.

The event is organised by the Little Casterton Working Weekend committee, a group of farm machinery enthusiasts who enjoy putting on a show with the emphasis on quality rather than quantity.

Tractors and machines, many rarely seen in public, can be found doing what they were designed for rather than standing silently in a show line.

The event has a reputation for delivering something special.  The hosts extensive collection of Caterpillar and Allis Chalmers tractors continues to grow as does the collection of harvesting machinery from nearby Great Casterton.  There is always something new to see at Little Casterton Working Weekend
